Heidi Paula have always been interested in facades. The kind of facade that tells so much and in the same time leaves a big question mark. The human facade, which we uphold to stay alive – not to expose ourselves and to maintain mysticism around our personality. Heidi Paula built their collection around their own facades – without getting too close. |
Contrast is one of the recurrent themes of the duo’s work: open vs. closed, the fragile, the mysterious, the hidden and the completely delicate and fine, complimented by the very dark and raw.
