Yoobi Sushi, London’s first temakeria, opened last month on Lexington Street in Soho. Temaki is fresh sushi wrapped in a cone – perfect for eating by hand. The name is derived from the word ‘yubi’ the Japanese word for fingers. |
Its interior design is an exercise in constraint that has produced a statement of clean minimalism at its best. London-based Gundry & Ducker Architecture Ltd. was responsible for Yoobi’s interior design, while Ico Design have created branding for it.
