Microsoft Briefing Center // Coast Office Architecture

Stuttgart-based practice coast office architecture have recently completed the ‘Microsoft Briefing Center’ at Microsoft’s office building in Wallisellen, Switzerland. Central undulating furniture pieces define the space allowing for different communication platforms to happen in the product lounge. The adjacent black glass media wall gives employees the opportunity to show presentations using the company’s various types of technologies (Microsoft Kinect and Microsoft surface technology) which are integrated into the face of the mill work.

The surface of the partition has a graphic application to reflect and layer the media being transmitted throughout the area. Functional programs such as a coat rack, kitchen, storage and catering are amalgamated and covered behind the barrier.
