Minimalist House Interior in Atlanta // Barbara Hill

4

Houston-based designer Barbara Hill is known for a stripped-down aesthetic that blends art-world cachet with Texas modernism. For her latest project, Barbara ventured out of Texas in the company of a family of four, whose contemporary Houston home she outfitted four years ago. The owners, who relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, for work, wanted to re-create the feeling of their previous house.

The entire space is a livable alternative to strict modernism. With the visual clutter gone, the house seems much more expansive than its modestly sized rooms would suggest, and the owners sing the praises of the charming neighborhood and their new-old house.

You wrote nice thing about interior, thanks. I have another way to create a soft, warm mood in the home is to light a particular sculpture or painting with a display light. For this you need to get a low-voltage downlight. If it is a painting, get a downlight in yellow, so as not to take away from the colours of the painting. You could highlight a sculpture with coloured light, depending on the effect that you want.
