‘Stains & Scars’ AW’2012 Fashion Collection // Yao Zhang


Blood stain, knitted scars, kiss bruise, roses burning, scars stains, no matter in concept or image aspect, in some extends, are ugly. They are often refer to something that most people want to delete from memory. The collection is focus on stains as a form of memories and personal identity to give stains meaningful metaphor and transferring them into illusions on garments. All the printings are positioned to be real on the body. It also aimed to extend researches on various stains to find ugly beauty and using different textile and texture of print works in casual menswear. The collection also contents an original textile – hand sculptured latex.
