Audi Ring // Schmidhuber + Partner

6

Architecture firm Schmidhuber + Partner designed Audi Ring, a monumental trade-fair stand complete with driving track.

Unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the freestanding installation invited visitors to get involved in the presentation by co-piloting the automobiles on display.

The 400-m-long test track pervaded the building like a pulsating artery, forming the core of the architectural ensemble. Everything was geared towards involving the visitor.
