AW’2013-2014 Fashion Collection // Paskal

Leather, minimalist styles and a lot of metal shine – in the collection F / W 2013-14 Julie Paskal quotes the 90s fashion recalling the rave culture and inspired by the images of the super-models of that time. The collection’s mood conveys a dark gamma – mouse gray and neat black used in conjunction with the ‘metallic’ – a cold silver, pale gold, icy blue and frozen green. In the perforated details which have become the basis of the brand identity, this time designer used vegetation themes.

Winter gardens in cold window sills is another allusion to the troubled decade which wrapped up the twentieth century. Monochrome coat made of the sold natural wool supplemented by the shiny details – lapels, cuffs, decorative strips at the rear are made of the leather reminiscent of the colored foil. One of the collection’s highlights – the coat the upper part of which is stylized like a leather biker jacket made of the embossed metallic leather with the wool bottom sewn to it. In the blouses and the skirts made of perforated leather the outlines of indoor ferns and monster can be discerned. Deliberate simplicity of the dresses is illusory: every model has a sophisticated cut. Drapes and free cut disguise the body shape. The collection continues with the pants flared from the hip and the skirts with the basques supplemented by the tops.
