‘Erarta’ // Contemporary Art Museum in St.Petersburg, Russia

3

The museum ‘Erarta’ was recently opened in St. Petersburg, Russia. It contains currently about 2,000 works of contemporary artists. In addition to the paintings here you also can see drawings, sculptures and installations. The concept of the space is a dialogue between the interior and the exposition itself.

In ‘Erarta’ there are two cafes and a seating area. There is also a conference room for presentations, seminars, lectures and meetings with artists. The third floor is equipped with the latest technology: using touch screens installed there, visitors can choose the name of the author, about whom they would like to learn more, to watch the interview with the artist or to get more information about the artworks.
